Title: That Which Opens a Heart
Medium: Thread Painting
Openhearted experience plants the voracious seed that grows anything I create. How do hearts open? Often they are broken open, through joy or pain. Also, with grace, they are softened open with healing, healed open with softening.
I cry far more quickly when swept over by moments of complex transcendent beauty than by moments of pain. If we can touch other hearts to opening, simply by somehow articulating and sharing the inexplicably ridiculous-funny-beautiful-sacred?
It doesn’t get better than this. This is sharing life itself.
