Heart of Chaos is a volunteer run and bay area based artisan collective that caters to emerging and established artists. Heart of Chaos provides marketing services through exhibits and art-related events as well as online artist portfolios and featured artist articles. By opening the lines of communication for artists to network they establish a presence in the community and enrich it through their vision. Heart of Chaos membership is free and open to artists of all mediums, experience levels and ages. Heart of Chaos also caters to at risk youth through a Community Outreach Task force, part of Catalyst for Youth's Juvenile Hall program.

Heart of Chaos is a program of Catalyst for Youth, a nonprofit public charity and educational corporation.  Catalyst for Youth was created to help children, teens and young adults become emotionally stable, socially responsible, and physically healthy contributing members of society. It's emphasis on mentoring reflects evidence based research on the importance of intergenerational communication.

Mentoring Through Art
Heart of Kids, the youth branch of Heart of Chaos, fuels young minds by inspiring youth 4-15 years of age to explore their artistic talents and showcase their skills at community exhibits. Mentoring by Heart of Chaos artists is an important component of the program.

Soul Revolution
Soul Revolution, the official publication of Heart of Chaos, personifies the electrifying essence of our artisan collective. Emerging, essential, evolving expressions of creativity fill its pages in stunning color and dynamic copy. What's more, every page is created by emerging designers and reflects the passionate commitment and vision of designer, musician and creative director Freddie Vega.
